1. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SaveForX (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “the Service”), accessible via www.saveforx.com. By accessing, browsing, or utilizing any of the web-based parsing tools, audio converters, video extractors, or documentation provided on this website, you explicitly agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with, or cannot abide by, every provision set forth in these Terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and must cease all usage immediately.

2. Independent Third-Party Disclaimer & Non-Affiliation Notice

SaveForX is an independent utility tool developed to assist users in accessing and organizing publicly accessible media.

SaveForX is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with X Corp., Twitter, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries, parent companies, or registered affiliates. All product and company names, logos, brands, and registered trademarks (including “Twitter”, “X”, “Tweet”, and associated bird or ‘X’ insignias) are trademarks™ or registered® trademarks of their respective holders. Use of them does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by them.

3. Permitted Use, Copyright & Fair Use Archiving

SaveForX provides an automated technological process for users to download and extract media for legitimate personal, educational, research, critique, and fair-use archiving purposes in compliance with copyright jurisprudence (including Section 107 of the US Copyright Act and equivalent international provisions).

When using SaveForX, you agree and warrant that:

  • You will only process media content from public posts where you own the intellectual property, have explicit authorization from the copyright holder, or where your usage constitutes permissible fair use under applicable statutory guidelines.
  • You will not use this service to infringe upon the copyright, trademark, trade secret, or proprietary rights of any third party.
  • You accept full, sole, and exclusive legal responsibility for the media files you choose to process, retrieve, and store on your local computer or mobile device.
  • SaveForX acts exclusively as a conduit and parsing tool and does not exercise editorial control over the content hosted on external social networks.

4. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) & Takedown Policy

SaveForX respects the intellectual property rights of others and adheres strictly to the safe harbor provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and international IP directives. Because SaveForX hosts zero content on its infrastructure, the most direct remedy for copyright holders is to request removal from the origin platform (X / Twitter).

However, if you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent thereof and wish to request blocklisting of specific Tweet URLs or accounts from our conversion engine, please submit a written DMCA notification containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material URL that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be disabled.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit SaveForX to contact you (such as an email address, telephone number, and postal address).
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

5. Acceptable Use Policy & Prohibited Conduct

In connection with your access to and use of SaveForX, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Automated Abuse & Scraping: Deploying bots, spiders, crawlers, or high-frequency automated scripts designed to overload, flood, or degrade the performance of our web infrastructure.
  • Circumvention of Security: Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system, network, or server hosting SaveForX, or breaching any authentication or rate-limiting protocols.
  • Malicious Distribution: Using the service to distribute malware, spyware, trojans, ransomware, or any other malicious payload.
  • Unlawful Content: Submitting URLs that contain non-consensual imagery, hate speech, violent extremism, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or content violating criminal statutes.
  • Commercial Resale: Reselling, white-labeling, or sublicensing the SaveForX conversion API without prior express written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties (“As Is” Basis)

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL WEB PAGES, PARSING UTILITIES, SCRIPTS, AND CONTENT CONTAINED HEREIN, IS PROVIDED STRICTLY ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, SAVETHATX AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND CONTINUOUS, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTRACTION TOOLS WILL REMAIN COMPATIBLE WITH CHANGES MADE TO THIRD-PARTY SOCIAL PLATFORMS, APIS, OR BROWSERS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE TIMELY CORRECTED.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SAVETHATX, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, DEVICE DAMAGE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

  • (i) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE;
  • (ii) ANY CONTENT ACCESSED OR OBTAINED FROM THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS;
  • (iii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT; OR
  • (iv) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, OR TROJAN HORSES TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH OUR SERVICE BY ANY THIRD PARTY.

8. User Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SaveForX, its contractors, licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms of Service; or (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, trademark, property, or privacy right.

9. Third-Party Links, Advertising & External Content

Our website may contain advertisements (such as Google AdSense units) and links to external third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by SaveForX. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or advertising networks. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

10. Modifications to Service & Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, update, replace, or discontinue these Terms or any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you must discontinue using SaveForX.

11. Severability & Governing Law

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted or modified to the minimum extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
